Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

These terms govern your use of MonetizeCuts, provided by MonetizeCuts. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.

2. The service

MonetizeCuts turns long videos into captioned vertical clips, choosing the moments with artificial intelligence. Automatic selection can make mistakes: review your clips before publishing. We do not guarantee views, reach or earnings from the clips.

3. Your account

You must be 18 or older, provide a real email address and keep your password secret. Each person may have one account. Creating accounts to repeatedly use the free sign-up minutes is not allowed.

4. Rights to the videos

By uploading a file or submitting a link, you declare that you own the rights to the content or have the owner's express authorization to edit and redistribute it. You are solely responsible for any infringement of copyright, image rights or third-party platform terms, and you hold MonetizeCuts harmless from claims arising from that use.

5. YouTube links

Downloading by link depends on YouTube, which may block or change access at any time. If the download fails, nothing is charged, and you can upload the video file instead.

6. Use of your content

We use your videos only to create your clips. We do not use your content to train artificial intelligence models or show it to other users.

7. Minutes, prices and expiry

Your balance is measured in minutes of the original video you submit, regardless of the number or length of the clips. Minutes expire: subscription minutes last 60 days, one-time pack minutes last 12 months and free sign-up minutes last 60 days. Videos use the minutes that expire first. Expired minutes are not returned or refunded.

When changing plans, you see the amounts before confirming. Upgrading may immediately charge the difference prorated to the rest of the cycle, with extra minutes in the same proportion. Downgrading takes effect from the next charge.

8. Payments

In Brazil, payments are processed by Mercado Pago. Outside Brazil, our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, the merchant of record, which handles payment, taxes and billing support. We never see your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.

9. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your profile. Canceling stops future charges, and minutes already received stay valid until they expire.

You can request a refund within 7 days of purchase from your profile. The refund is proportional to the unused minutes from that purchase; used minutes are not refunded. For subscriptions, refunds apply to the first charge and also cancel the renewal. For purchases through Paddle, Paddle's refund policy and the consumer rights of your country also apply.

10. Prohibited uses

You may not use the service for illegal content, to infringe third-party rights, to try to bypass limits or charges, or to attack or overload the system. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

11. File retention

The original video is deleted after processing. Clips are available for download for 7 days and then deleted: download yours before that.

12. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits your consumer rights.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Important changes will be announced on the site or by email before they take effect.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by Brazilian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
