1. Who is responsible for your data

MonetizeCuts is the controller of the data processed on MonetizeCuts, under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and, for users in Europe, the GDPR. To discuss your data, write to monetizecuts@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

Account: email and, if you sign in with Google, your profile name. Content: the videos and links you submit, the generated transcript and the clips. Purchases: plan, amounts, dates and transaction identifiers. Card details stay with Mercado Pago or Paddle only. Usage and technical: history of processed videos, approximate country from your IP address (to choose language and currency) and necessary cookies.

3. How we use it

To provide the service you signed up for (creating clips, charging, crediting and refunding minutes), to meet legal and tax obligations, and to protect the service against fraud and abuse, such as hourly usage limits.

4. Who we share it with

We use providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (account and database), Vercel (website), Cloudflare (video storage), Modal (video processing), Anthropic (analysis of the transcript text to choose moments; the video is not sent), Google (public YouTube video data and Google sign-in), Mercado Pago and Paddle (payments). Some are outside your country, so data may be transferred internationally with the safeguards required by law.

We do not sell your data and do not use your content to train artificial intelligence models.

5. How long we keep it

The original video is deleted after processing, and working files leave the processing servers within 2 days. Clips are available for 7 days. Account data is kept while the account exists. Purchase records are kept for the period required by tax law.

6. Cookies

We use necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your chosen region and language. We do not use advertising cookies.

7. Your rights

You can request access, correction, portability and deletion of your data, information about sharing, and withdrawal of consent, as provided by the LGPD and, for users in Europe, the GDPR. To exercise these rights, write to monetizecuts@gmail.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

8. Security

We protect data with encrypted connections, per-user access restrictions and separate keys for each service. No system is fully immune; if a relevant incident happens, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law.

9. Minors

The service is intended for people aged 18 or over.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Important changes will be announced on the site or by email.
